Music is an art form. Its medium is sound. In music, a song is a composition that contains vocal parts ("lyrics") that are performed ("sung"), commonly accompanied by musical instruments, exception in the case of accapella songs. The lyrics of songs are typically poetic, rhyming nature, although they may be religious verses or free prose.
Music has some element. Common elements of music are pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics, and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture.
